About this Opportunity

The Education Counsellor has a critical role in supporting international students in finding institutions that align with their academic and career aspirations. This involves providing students with the necessary information and support to make informed decisions about their study opportunities, local education systems, and cultural environments. The role also entails assisting with application documents, facilitating enrolments, and promoting relevant products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • To drive the achievement of pipeline goals, customer satisfaction, and advocacy targets through various stages of the student journey, including promoting student essential products and services, managing leads and successful applications, and seeking referral opportunities.
  • To deliver exceptional customer service to students, their families, and education providers, involving regular engagement, provision of clear information, and proactive communication.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service-driven environment, with a track record of achieving individual and team-based targets.
  • A solid understanding of the education sector, encompassing the placement of students into VET and universities, immigration requirements, and processes.
  • Tertiary qualifications and/or prior experience working as an Education Counsellor or similar role.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including fluency in English, both verbal and written.
