Lead and Manage Complex Programs

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and manage complex programs of work. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of building strong relationships, influencing stakeholders, strategizing, and implementing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Management: Ability to manage multiple large concurrent technology programs or portfolios.
  2. Organizational Skills: Highly organized and detail-oriented; self-motivated.
  3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the organization (including Senior Executives) to manage, inform and influence outcomes.
  4. Technical Projects: Work independently to define, plan, and execute technical projects; able to distill data and articulate rationale for making difficult trade-offs and prioritizations.
  5. Team Motivation: Motivate teams (not always reporting directly to you) to solve problems and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment across multiple geographies.
  6. Influencing Skills: Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive large-scale technical delivery at all levels of the organization.
  7. Project Management Tools: Have experience using planning and task management tools (Gantt, Jira) and common project management practices to support delivery objectives.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  1. Program Delivery: Lead program delivery to support long-term business objectives that are complex and integrated.
  2. Scope Definition: Create clear scope definition across all areas of the program, including planning, communications, change management, and implementation.
  3. Roadmaps and Delivery Plans: Design, develop, and manage complex integrated roadmaps and delivery plans in a dynamic environment that is constantly adapting to the changing need of the customer.
  4. Strategic Thought Leadership: Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership while effectively driving program delivery; produce program reporting to executive stakeholders on the status and health of the program.
  5. Risk and Impediments: Capture, resolve, and escalate risk & impediments to ensure that program delivery continues effectively and unencumbered; ensure programs are delivered on time and within budget.
  6. C-Level Presentations: Support senior-level executives and support the creation of C-level presentation materials to support the communication of program-level status and information for various stakeholders.
  7. Agile Ceremonies: Run agile ceremonies and ensure a healthy team backlog and process.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: 3+ years of experience in product or program management with end-to-end product and/or service delivery.
  2. Roadmap Strategy: 3+ years of experience overseeing roadmap strategy, definition, improvement, and measurement.
