About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Server Administrator to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure, including instances, storage, and network configurations. Additionally, you will oversee on-premises infrastructure management, Windows Server Administration, Linux Server Administration, Virtual Machine Management, Client Support, Migration Support, and SSL/DNS Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management:
    • Monitoring and managing instances, storage, and network configurations.
    • Implementing cost-optimization strategies and ensuring security compliance.
  • On-Premises Infrastructure Management:
    • Overseeing VMware environments, including VM provisioning, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Windows Server Administration:
    • Managing Active Directory, ADFS, DNS, Group Policies, and user account administration.
    • Ensuring periodic system updates and patch management.
  • Linux Server Administration:
    • Centralized user management, handling routine tasks such as updates, log analysis, service management, and troubleshooting.
  • Virtual Machine Management:
    • Provisioning, configuring, and maintaining virtual environments.
  • Client Support:
    • Addressing and resolving client issues in a timely manner to ensure service continuity.
  • Migration Support:
    • Planning and executing system and data migrations, ensuring minimal downtime and risk.
  • SSL and DNS Management:
    • Managing SSL certificates and DNS configurations to maintain secure and reliable connections.
  • DevOps-Related Tasks and Research:
    • Supporting initial DevOps activities such as CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, and deployment pipelines.
    • Conducting R&D to lay the foundation for a robust DevOps team.
