Job Title: Assistant Manager

This role requires a professional with extensive experience in managing store operations, including inventory management, employee supervision, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of success in a similar position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain the computerized inventory system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Direct personnel actions, including hiring, performance appraisal, and disciplinary actions.
  • Conduct training sessions for junior staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process flows.
  • Maintain accurate financial reports and records related to store operations.
  • Handle goods and stock properly, categorizing them for easy identification.
  • Issue goods to concerned departments on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or First-Expired-First-Out (FEFO) basis, as approved.
  • Monitor physical stock levels, maintaining optimum levels based on consumption and present stock.
  • Ensure proper handling of materials during loading, unloading, and transportation.
  • Provide regular updates on support status and recommend resolutions for internal problems or scheduling inconsistencies.
  • Perform assigned tasks by the Head of Department.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree or minimum 4 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant subject.
