IT Consultant

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled IT consultant to join our team as a Consultant Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for provisioning, delivering, and supporting the IT infrastructure, including order, build, monitor, evergreening, patching, and fixing production issues.

You will have sound knowledge of incident management, change management, process management, IHS and OS patching, and vulnerabilities mitigation. You will also be required to build Jenkins CI/CD pipelines to create cloud infrastructures and automate application deployment.

In addition, you will have sound knowledge of GitHub, Ansible, and Nexus. You will understand the end-to-end flow of the DevOps lifecycle and advise on designing a Jenkins pipeline in given scenarios. You will set up alerting and monitoring using different tools like App Dynamics and BMC Patrol.

You will have proficiency in shell scripting in Unix and hands-on experience in creating Jenkins pipelines and integrating them with GitHub and Ansible. You will also have basic knowledge of code scans and Checkmarx, familiarity with JIRA and Confluence, and understanding commands of Git Bash, resolving branch conflicts, and troubleshooting Git-related issues.

BASIC KNOWLEDGE OF MAVEN AND UNDERSTANDING OF POM.XML FOR NECESSARY MODIFICATIONS IS REQUIRED. ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGE FOR KNOWLEDGE OF REST APIs, POSTMAN, AND PYTHON.

You will be able to understand Ansible playbooks and create or modify them as needed.
