As a Senior Node.js Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust backend systems for scalable applications. Your strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and asynchronous programming patterns will be instrumental in crafting efficient code.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement Server-Side Applications: Utilize Node.js and associated frameworks such as Express NestJS to create server-side applications that meet the needs of scalable applications.
  • Architecture and Implementation: Architect and implement scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs ensuring seamless data exchange between frontend, backend, and microservices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
  • Optimization and Monitoring: Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability by continuously monitoring, evaluating, and refining the software architecture.
  • Integration and Third-Party Services: Integrate third-party services, databases (SQL & NoSQL), and cloud platforms (AWS GCP) into your applications.
  • Code Quality and Security: Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and modular code adhering to industry standards, best practices, and company guidelines.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, promote best practices in software development, and ensure knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Data Protection and Compliance: Ensure application security, data protection, compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 4+ years of professional experience in backend development specifically with Node.js.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Essential Skills
  • JavaScript Proficiency: Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6+ and asynchronous programming patterns.
  • API Design and Microservices: Experience with RESTful API design, microservices architecture, containerization, and orchestration tools Docker Kubernetes.
  • Database Management: Hands-on experience with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL.
  • CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and version control tools Git.
  • Testing Frameworks: Understanding of testing frameworks Mocha, Jest, Jasmine, and solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and collaborative mindset.
