Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth.

  • Work collaboratively with senior team members to identify and manage potential risks that may impact business growth.
  • Cold calling to schedule meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business.
  • Maintain a database of prospect clients to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead sourcing to generate new business leads and develop strategic relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Generate appointments for Sales Managers and the Business Development team.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Communicating with existing and new clients to understand their needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Presenting services in a professional and structured manner.
  • Building positive, long-lasting relationships with current and potential clients.
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with existing and new customers through in-person and telephone interactions.
  • Cold calling, making multiple calls to potential clients, closing sales, and working with clients through the closing process.
  • Collaborating with sales and leadership teams to secure, retain, and grow accounts.
  • Meeting all quotas for cold, active, inactive calls, appointments, and interviews; meeting or exceeding annual sales goals.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree preferred with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Sales experience within a service sales industry.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.
  • Target-driven, focused on results, and motivated to achieve sales targets.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and convincing power.
  • Experience in both project management and sales sides of running a business.
  • A self-starter with high motivation, excellent customer service and sales skills, advanced presentation and persuasive skills, and strong time management abilities.
