Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Brand Creator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing a cohesive visual brand for digital courses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create visually appealing graphics, illustrations, and animations to enhance the user experience and appeal of courses on Open edX.
  • Design visual assets including thumbnails, banners, title cards, and in-video graphics to maintain brand consistency across all platforms and courses.
  • Develop short animations and motion graphics to visualize complex concepts or add dynamic visual appeal.
  • Provide support for basic audio/video editing tasks, particularly for incorporating graphics, text overlays, and short animated sequences.
  • Organize and maintain a digital asset library of graphics, templates, and branding elements.
  • Collaborate with instructional designers to translate learning content into engaging visual formats.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Web Design, Digital Media Arts, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in graphic design, web design, and UI/UX design, preferably in an educational or corporate training environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Canva, Figma, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and multimedia tools like Premiere Pro and Camtasia.
  • Experience designing for educational platforms, preferably Open edX, and understanding of ADDIE model, cognitive load principles, and multimedia learning best practices.
