Role Overview:

This mid-senior level role is responsible for leading the development and implementation of big data analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, as well as creating visually engaging dashboards using data visualization tools.

The Senior Big Data Specialist/Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions, providing predictive and prescriptive analytics using AIOps-enhanced frameworks. This includes leveraging AIOps processes and procedures, open-source technologies, and cloud-based LLMs and AI models for automation, optimization, and real-time insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Pipeline Management: Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines to collect, process, and analyze data from various microservices.
  2. Dashboard Creation and Maintenance: Develop visually engaging dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  3. Data Integration and Consolidation: Aggregate, integrate, and cleanse data from distributed systems and microservices into centralized repositories.
  4. Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights using AI and machine learning models.

Requirements:
  1. Diploma in AIOps (RQF Level 6) or BSc/MSc in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Big Data engineering, data analysis, or similar roles.

Skills:

  1. Proficiency in Big Data frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Flink.
  2. Experience with data pipeline tools integrated with AIOps monitoring and orchestration.
  3. Advanced SQL and familiarity with NoSQL databases.
  4. Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
