We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Website Developer to join our team. As a Senior Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining Shopify-based ecommerce websites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, with excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS3 and Liquid programming language.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the project from conception to finished product. This includes researching, customizing/developing and implementing third-party add-ons, plugins and other integrations. You will also be responsible for generating custom Shopify themes and enhancing existing templates.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of web application technologies and techniques in Shopify. This includes experience with Shopify's object/properties, AJAX API and Meta fields. You will also need to be able to write clean, efficient and well-documented code.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to have excellent communication and project management skills. You will be responsible for ensuring that your new custom development work properly in all environments while overcoming conflicts with popular themes and plugins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Taking full responsibility for the project from conception to finished product
  • Responsible for the development of the Shopify Plus platform, themes, liquid programming language and corresponding apps
  • Create and edit custom Shopify themes that are scalable and maintainable
  • Demonstrated ability to execute development with minimal oversight, ability to take ownership of projects transforming complex layout PSDs into pixel-perfect designs
