PURPOSE: The primary objective of this role is to oversee the daily operations of a retail store, ensuring that customer service standards are consistently met while maintaining an efficient sales and inventory management system.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIESStaff Management
  • Develop and implement effective training programs for sales staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales communication skills.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with Regional Sales Managers or Operations Managers to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and implement time management strategies to optimize store staff productivity.
  • Design and deliver new product training sessions based on consumer behavior insights.
Store Management
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity by gathering information on style, quality, and pricing of competitive merchandise.
  • Create visually appealing displays and showcases that effectively communicate product USPs and drive customer engagement.
  • Drive sales growth by demonstrating products and providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist customers with inquiries, locate merchandise, process transactions, and prepare items for delivery.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment that meets brand standards.
Stock Management
  • Optimize inventory levels by conducting regular stock checks and anticipating customer demand.
  • Prepare detailed reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data for internal audits.
Cash Management
  • Ensure accurate cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Process daily deposits and maintain expense records.
Job Specification

· A master's degree or four years of bachelor's (Business graduates preferred)
· 1-2 years of direct experience in the retail industry (Masters) or 2-3 years (Bachelors)
· In-depth knowledge of Supply Chain Management
· Excellent customer service and selling skills
· Effective verbal and written communication skills for management and peers
· Ability to focus on detail-oriented tasks while meeting schedules and deadlines
· Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
· Familiarity with ERPs
· Proven team working and leading skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel
