Purchasing Supervisor

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the purchasing activities of the company.

• Proven experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

1. Maintain accurate records of goods ordered and received.
2. Evaluate and select vendors for materials, equipment, and supplies.
3. Prepare and process purchase orders, requisitions, and contracts.
4. Analyze market trends and delivery systems to ensure timely material availability.
5. Develop and implement purchasing instructions, policies, and procedures.
6. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve grievances and claims.
7. Negotiate contracts and formulate policies with suppliers.
8. Evaluate specifications for issuing and awarding bids.
9. Direct and coordinate activities of personnel engaged in buying, selling, and distributing materials.
10. Prepare reports on market conditions and merchandise costs.
