Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Engineering Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, equipment, and systems. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Mechanical and Electrical engineering, with a strong understanding of pharmaceutical equipment and processes.

As an Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment and facilities are functioning correctly and efficiently. This includes planning and executing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements. You will also be responsible for managing a team of engineers and contractors, providing guidance and support as needed.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who is able to lead by example, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. You should be able to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and provide clear and concise instructions and feedback. Experience with project management and data analysis is also highly desirable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Maintenance of machines and equipment (Mechanical & Electrical)
  • Design of facilities
  • Validation and qualification of equipment and facilities
  • Management of the calibration programme
  • Management of the Planned Preventative Maintenance programme
  • Control and operation of site services (including water, steam, and HVAC systems)
  • Control of engineering spares/equipment spares
  • Control of engineering contractors
  • Approval of engineering-related procedures, documents, and drawings
  • Control and storage of engineering records
  • Control of equipment manuals
  • Site security and access
  • Project Management
