Electrical Engineer Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer (Instrumentation and Control) to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems and machinery in our manufacturing facility.

This critical role involves ensuring the smooth functioning of VFFS packaging machines, electric motors, switchgear, generators, and Variable Frequency Drives. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication and team collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive electrical system management strategies to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and instrumentation issues in VFFS packaging machines, electric motors, generators, and VFDs.
  • Design and implement preventive maintenance schedules for packaging machines and electrical systems.
  • Supervise the installation, commissioning, and modification of FMCG machinery to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Work on PLCs, control panels, and electrical automation systems to improve production efficiency.
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of air conditioning systems within the plant.
  • Maintain compliance with industry safety standards, technical regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong expertise in electric motors, switchgear, generators, and VFDs.
    • Hands-on experience with VFFS (ISHIDA, Wolf & Wright) packaging machines.
    • Proficiency in PLC programming, automation, and industrial control systems.
    • Knowledge of air conditioning systems and power management.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
    • Ability to lead troubleshooting and maintenance activities independently.
