Senior Software Development Lead

This position oversees the planning, development, and delivery of software products from inception to completion. Key responsibilities include strategic direction, project management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Exercising independent judgment and discretion in managing software projects.
- Prioritizing plans and tracking project progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
- Designing, developing, and modifying programs, including prototypes, and researching product development options for strategic analysis.
- Collaborating with internal departments to identify customer needs and integrate them into project objectives.
- Leading and directing a team of software developers, evaluating performance, setting goals and expectations, and providing training and discipline as needed.
- Developing related documentation.
Technical Skills: Strong background in .Net, ASP/JSP, XML, XST, Java/J2EE, RDBMs (SQL 2000-2008, Oracle 8i, MySQL). Experience with Web Content Management Systems is a plus.
Project Management Skills: Project management/project lifecycle/project methodology skills are required. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments.
Communication Skills: Excellent written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
