Job Description:

The Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for translating complex strategies into clear presentations for leadership and stakeholders, maintaining a professional standard.

They analyze Indirects and upstream processes to identify inefficiencies, propose improvements, and support standardization or digitalization efforts within the S2C and P2P lifecycles.

Key responsibilities include preparing detailed spend reports, tracking KPIs, and managing operational dashboards. Additionally, they extract data, gather inputs from teams, and resolve data or operational escalations.

The role requires proactive identification of operational inefficiencies and bottlenecks in processes or workflows, engaging with stakeholders to understand challenges, gather information, and propose practical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Science / Engineering / Technology with 4-6 years of experience. A Master's in Business Administration or PGDM is preferred.
  • Lead six sigma certifications; Bachelor in Production / Industrial Engineering is desirable.
  • Solid experience in procurement, strong understanding of Indirects and upstream processes.
  • Advanced Excel/Gsheets skills are mandatory, along with experience in analytical tools and procurement systems.
  • Strong capability to design and deliver professional, data-driven presentations for senior leadership.
  • Practical experience supporting projects, including scheduling, meeting facilitation, and action item follow-up.
  • A proactive and solutions-oriented attitude, with a bias for action. Ability to identify problems and propose practical solutions.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills, building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders across procurement, finance, IT, and business units.
  • Natural curiosity to optimize procurement workflows and drive continuous improvement.
