Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including history taking, physical examination, laboratory/radiology investigations, and treatment plans.
- Conduct daily rounds on patients, monitor progress, and ensure adequate handover in case of physician responsibilities being assigned to an inpatient facility.
- Advise on further testing and referral processes, as needed.
- Participate in hands-on training and identify gaps in staff training, providing didactic and/or hands-on training as required.
- Collect and analyze medical service data to assess quality of care for patients and services.
- Ensure standard precautions of Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) measures are implemented and adhered to, according to MoH and international standards.
- Adhere to international protocols and standards related to patient assessment, diagnostic, and medical prescription of drugs.
- Manage and supervise other clinical staff, participate in hiring processes if needed, and provide health education to patients and community members.
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality, immediately reporting any violations of IMC's Code of Conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
