Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Embedded Systems Developer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality embedded systems and software.

About the Role:

This role involves designing, developing, testing, and optimizing embedded software and firmware for various applications. You will collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components, ensuring seamless system integration. Your expertise in C/C++ and embedded systems will be crucial in driving project outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

Embedded Software Development: Design, develop, test, and optimize embedded software and firmware for various applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.System Integration: Collaborate with hardware engineers to integrate software and hardware components, driving seamless system integration.Performance Optimization: Optimize and debug embedded systems to ensure exceptional performance and stability.Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, you should have a strong foundation in C++, C, Python, OS concepts, and data structures. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required. At least 7-9 years of experience in embedded systems development is essential.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Linux kernel and driver development, as well as knowledge of Linux networking and related protocols, is preferred. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and debugging tools and techniques (e.g., JTAG, GDB) is also beneficial. Understanding of hardware interfaces and communication protocols (e.g., I2C, SPI, UART) and ability to develop and maintain documentation for software designs, code, and test procedures are valuable assets.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, and 3+ years of software engineering or related work experience, OR Master's degree in the same field and 2+ years of experience, OR PhD in the same field and 1+ year of experience, OR 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
