System Engineer Role

The System Engineer plays a crucial role in supporting and assisting in the planning, design, and implementation of new projects at customer sites. This position requires a strong understanding of system architecture and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Active participation in deployments at customer sites, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  2. Monitoring existing systems to maintain their structural integrity and identify areas for improvement.
  3. Overseeing the development and installation of new hardware and software, guaranteeing compatibility and optimal performance.
  4. Installing and configuring operating systems and other software, thoroughly testing installed software for glitches and issues.
  5. Designing and implementing security systems and redundant backups to safeguard data and prevent losses.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • A good grasp of Microsoft-based products, such as VMWARE and ESXi, is essential for this role.
  • Experience with monitoring systems and ITSM tools is highly valued.
  • Proven expertise in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting VM, ESXi, and banking applications is required.

Education, Experience, and Certifications:
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of progressive experience is necessary for this position.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science is preferred.
  • Technical certifications, such as MS, SolarWinds, or ME, are desirable but not mandatory.

Competencies and Skills:
  1. Exceptional organizational skills and high motivation are required to excel in this role.
  2. A basic knowledge of networking is essential.
  3. Strong customer orientation and excellent communication and presentation skills are vital.
  4. Expertise in Microsoft products, VMWARE, ESXi, SolarWinds, ME, and SQL is necessary.
