Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team as an Integrations Specialist. This role will involve designing and implementing mission-critical integrations between source data, financial SaaS, and custom applications with Oracle ReIM.

Responsibilities
  • Define and build data sources, mappings, and integration points across a diverse application portfolio.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of technical concepts, issues, trends, and best practices related to Oracle cloud technologies and system integrations.
  • Identify performance issues; apply expertise in security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including Technical Design Specifications.
  • Facilitate cross-functional troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and engage others when necessary.
  • Provide production support, including troubleshooting break/fix issues, resolving complex software defects, and conducting performance tuning.
  • Log Service Requests with Oracle and collaborate to resolve defects when required.
  • C Coordinate and troubleshoot with system analysts, developers, and business owners for interface support.
  • Develop and maintain interfaces between ReIM and other financial and retail modules.
  • Mentor team members on the team and promote technical excellence across various disciplines.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards and best practices throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience implementing, developing, and enhancing Oracle ReIM functionalities with seamless integration with Oracle applications.
  • Strong proficiency in PL/SQL, stored procedures, Oracle workflow, Forms, Reports, BI Publisher, JDeveloper, SOA suite, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle is essential, and familiarity with other relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) is a plus; proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Strong understanding of data migration, interfaces, and customizations in Oracle Retail.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving ReIM-related production issues.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting; experience in RESTful architecture and microservices development is a plus.
  • Experience working with cloud-based services such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI/CD to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines.
  • Experience with GIT version control and CI/CD.
  • Preferred recent experience with upgrades to Oracle Financials Cloud.
  • Experience integrating with financial systems (e.g., Anaplan, Oracle Financials) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in enterprise or high-scale environments.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
