Virtual IT Instructor

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Virtual IT Instructor to join our innovative education team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Information Technology and a passion for teaching students virtually.

The role involves creating and delivering engaging lessons, interacting with students through digital platforms, and ensuring a supportive and interactive online learning environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Create comprehensiveIT curriculasa suitable for various skill levels.
• Teach courses incategories such as computer science, software applications, web development, networking, and cybersecuritythrough virtual classrooms.
• Prepare and deliver interactive online lessons using multimedia tools and platforms.
• Evaluate and assess students' progress through online assignments, projects, and exams.
• Provide timely feedback and support to students on IT-related projects and assignments.
• Stay current with technological advancements and integrate new digital learning tools and techniques into the curriculum.
• Collaborate with other online teachers and administrative staff to develop and improve theIT program.
• Ensure the virtual classroom environment is conducive to learning and adheres to online safety and security standards.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance online teaching skills and knowledge.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree inInformation Technology, Computer Science, Education, or a related field(Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or license as required. Proven experience teaching IT or related subjects in an online or remote setting.
• Strong knowledge ofcomputer systems, software applications, networking,andcybersecurity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in a virtual environment.
• Proficiency with online learning platforms and educational technology tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience withcoding languagessuch asPython, Java, HTML, andCSS.
• Knowledge of online educational best practices and curriculum development.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to pursue careers in IT.
