Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts payable using NetSuite and Bill.com
  • Handle vendor invoice coding and approval workflows
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors, including collecting information for new vendor setup
  • Ensure bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures
  • Process manual check requests and wires
  • Process vendor payments through vendor portals
  • Investigate and resolve problems with vendor invoicing
  • Manage returned payments and work to collect update information from vendors
  • Assist in the 1099 process by collecting W-9s, ensuring name matches IRS, and ensuring coding is correct
  • Assist with month-end close by performing accounting duties such as GL account maintenance, recording journal entries for accruals, and reconciling AP accounts
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in accounts payable roles
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
  • Competency with productivity systems, such as NetSuite, Bill.com, Excel
  • Basic data entry skills
  • Comfortable with math and calculations
  • Good listening and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
