**Job Description**

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to assume the role of Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer. This position requires an individual with experience in testing software applications and ensuring high-quality products through effective planning, execution, and management of manual testing activities.

  • Test planning and management are key responsibilities of this role. The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
  • The SQA Engineer will also be responsible for creating and maintaining test cases, leveraging various test tools, and ensuring that requirements are met.
  • Developing repeatable test procedures and implementing quality assurance practices across the organization are additional duties of this role.
  • Effective communication and collaboration with development, QA, and product teams are crucial in clarifying requirements, following up on issues, and reducing defects.

A strong understanding of software development life cycles, test methodologies, and quality assurance processes is essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience using testing tools such as Postman, JMeter, and Charles.

**Requirements**

  • 4 to 5 years of experience in testing Web, Android, and iOS native applications.
  • Hands-on experience using tools such as Postman, JMeter, and Charles.
  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL queries.
  • Ability and experience in developing high-coverage test cases for application features.
  • A deep understanding of the benefits of QA automation; some hands-on experience will be a plus.
  • Working experience of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Agile Testing Life Cycles.
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, STLC, and QA processes in Scrum.
  • Experience in supporting and/or leading production releases/project test efforts.
  • Experience in applying quality management best practices and implementing application lifecycle management that includes requirements management, test planning, execution, defects tracking, and reporting.
