About the Role

As a Software Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading technical teams and contributing to the commercial imperatives of associated business processes. You will have the ability to prioritize work, delegate tasks appropriately, and work well to deadlines.

You will also be required to have strong project management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across the business. Self-motivation and resourcefulness are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage software development projects from conception to completion
  • Lead technical teams and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
  • Contribute to the commercial imperatives of associated business processes
  • Develop and implement project management plans and strategies
  • Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and team members
Requirements & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Computer Science degree or equivalent
  • Project Management accreditation and/or equivalent experience with formal Project and Development methods
  • 3+ years software development experience including complete software development life-cycle
  • 2+ years project management experience
  • 2+ years experience leading technical teams
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to the commercial imperatives of associated business processes
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize work, delegate as appropriate and work well to deadlines
  • Strong and clear communication skills - ability to communicate effectively across the business
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Strong mentoring, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships both internally and externally
