Head of Financial Operations

We are seeking an experienced Head of Financial Operations to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial operations, ensuring that our financial processes are efficient, effective, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving financial strategy, managing accounting and finance teams, and implementing financial controls to mitigate risks.
You will lead the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures, ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, and provide financial guidance to senior management. Your ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and develop recommendations will be crucial in driving business growth and informing strategic decisions.
A strong understanding of UK financial regulations and compliance standards is essential, as well as proficiency in financial software and ERP systems. Your technical literacy on digital financial services will enable you to navigate the fintech landscape effectively. As a seasoned finance leader, you will possess exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a strong attention to detail.
Key responsibilities include developing financial models and projections, providing investors with insights on scenario analysis, and ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and IFRS. You will also oversee statutory audits, manage relationships with external auditors, and address audit findings promptly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Masters in finance, accounting, or a related field
- ACCA qualified / ICAP CA CAF and CFAP stage cleared
- Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management (post-articles), with a strong background in fintech or digital payments
