Android Application Architect

We are looking for a seasoned Android Architect with deep expertise in Kotlin and/or Java to join our team. The successful candidate will design and architect high-performance Android applications using modern development practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design clean architecture principles (MVVM, Clean Architecture, Jetpack Compose) and ensure seamless integration with backend teams.
  2. Orient the Android team towards best practices, conducting code reviews and technical evaluations.
  3. Mentor junior developers to drive innovation across projects.
  4. Stay up to date with Android trends and technology advancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. A minimum of 8 years of Android development experience, with at least 3 years in an architect or lead engineer role.
  2. Expertise in Kotlin and/or Java with solid experience in Android SDK and Jetpack libraries.
  3. Strong understanding of coroutines, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
  4. Familiarity with Jetpack Compose, LiveData, Room, Navigation, and related components.
  5. Experience in integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party SDKs.
  6. Proficient with Android Studio, debugging/profiling tools, and Git.
  7. Experience with unit testing, Espresso, and other testing frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience working on fintech, stock market, or real-time data-driven applications.
  2. Familiarity with cloud-based services like Firebase or AWS.
  3. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bitrise, Jenkins, Fastlane).
  4. Knowledge of cross-platform frameworks like Flutter or React Native is a plus.
