School Leader - Educator and Administrator
Job Description:
We are seeking a visionary and skilled School Leader to oversee the academic and administrative aspects of our school. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a culture of mutual respect, continuous learning, and collaboration among students, teachers, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promoting high standards of evidence-based learning and teaching by monitoring school progress across key performance indicators.
- Recruiting, developing, and retaining the best teachers in the school through effective recruitment strategies and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Developing a culture of mutual and continuous learning, respect, collaboration, and coordination within the school community.
Academic Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing school improvement plans based on need analysis and ensuring their timely implementation.
- Monitoring classroom quality through lesson planners and formal/informal classroom observations.
- Providing feedback to teachers on their performance and supporting them in their professional growth.
- Ensuring that student performance is monitored and addressed through regular assessments and feedback.
- Organizing and managing co-curricular activities, timetables, displays, libraries, and laboratories within the school.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Developing strong relationships with the community and promoting education awareness among parents and children.
- Ensuring that the school maintains an optimal student strength through effective enrollment strategies.
- Maintaining accurate records of teacher CVs and facilitating staff hiring, retention, and performance management processes.
- Managing staff leaves and attendance, minimizing empty classroom days.
- Supervising the administration assistant in accounts and other matters.
