Financial Transactions and Compliance Specialist

">
  • Recording and maintaining the company's financial transactions, such as purchases, expenses, sales revenue, invoices, and payments
  • Assisting the accountant in submitting the salary tax, income tax returns, withholding tax, and sales tax
">

Responsibilities

">
  1. Performing payroll functions in an accurate and timely manner and submitting payroll taxes
  2. Conducting reconciliation of all accounts on an as-needed basis
  3. Maintaining and balancing the general ledger in an accurate, complete, and up-to-date manner
  4. Performing all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments
  5. Performing account receivable functions including invoicing, deposits, collections, and revenue recognition
  6. Preparing financial reports through the collection, analysis, and summarisation of data
  7. Interpreting and applying accounting policies, rules, and regulations to all work in order to ensure compliance with applicable standards

Requirements

">
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or equivalent degree in the relevant field
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience as a bookkeeper
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with accounting software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
