Role Description
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading the development of modern cloud-based applications and their integration into a common data platform. You will be responsible for driving technical innovation, leading large-scale initiatives, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a technical roadmap for the evolution of our platforms, focusing on scalability, reliability, and meeting business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, and product management, to drive project success.
- Mentor junior engineers, promoting their growth and development within the team.
- Design and develop data platforms that promote standardization, including data pipeline development, platform tooling, and data democratization.
- Establish and maintain data governance best practices.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 13 years of experience leading software development and integration projects.
- Strong technical knowledge of cloud-based applications and data platforms.
- Expertise in big data ecosystems and related tools.
- Proven track record in data processing, orchestration, data engineering, and data governance.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
