Quality Assurance Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Quality Assurance Specialist to join our distributed engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in software testing, including manual and automated testing methods. You will work closely with development teams to identify and prioritize testing requirements, design and execute comprehensive test plans, and ensure complete test coverage of features.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and executing detailed, structured, and reusable manual test cases for web and mobile applications.
  • Conducting functional, regression, integration, UI/UX, and smoke testing across multiple platforms.
  • Maintaining and managing bug tracking and test case management tools.
  • Performing API testing using tools like Postman, validating endpoints, payloads, status codes, and authentication workflows.
  • Ensuring complete test coverage of features in sprint cycles using Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Logging detailed and reproducible bug reports, and tracking defect resolution through the lifecycle.
  • Participating in requirements analysis, grooming, and design reviews to provide QA perspective and identify test dependencies early.
  • Supporting and maintaining lightweight automation scripts or test suites using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
  • Collaborating with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and quality releases.
