Job Title: Shift Leadership Roles

Description:

This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences and leading a team to achieve high levels of service. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for interacting with guests, creating lasting relationships, and maintaining a high level of service by guiding the baristas on shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Greet all guests with a friendly smile and demonstrate passion and confidence for the brand.
  2. Honor guests by providing quick, friendly, and genuine service that generates guest satisfaction.
  3. Respond appropriately to guest concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Product Knowledge:

  • Educate guests on Second Cup products and services.
  • Ensure that Baristas maintain a high level of standards for all product preparation.
  • Follow all standard recipes at all times.

Teamwork and Communication:

  • Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to solve issues and improve quality and service.
  • Assist baristas during peak business times and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Implement positive change and work collaboratively with the team to achieve common goals.

Cash Handling and Integrity:

  • Reconcile cash and register records at the end of each shift.
  • Ensure all Baristas follow cash handling procedures during shifts.
  • Follow business procedures for handling voids and cash handling mistakes.

Additional Skills:

  • Sales skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintain positive morale and professional attitude at all times.
  • Work varied hours/days based on café requirements.
