Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Description

A talented and motivated individual with experience in backend software development is required to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using Node.js. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and integrating RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js, as well as working with the frontend and backend teams to ensure smooth integration and seamless data flow between components.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of modern JavaScript best practices, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires a passion for staying current with emerging trends and advancements in Node.js, backend development, and broader web technologies (MERN Stack, JavaScript & TypeScript).

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Node.js
  • Implementing and integrating RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
  • Collaborating with the frontend and backend teams to ensure smooth integration and seamless data flow between components
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous working experience as a Backend Software Engineer with minimum 2-3 years of experience
  • BS degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB)
  • Experience with GitHub or other revision control systems
  • Working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS (including common CSS framework)
