Solar Power Design Engineer Role

As a key member of our team, you will provide engineering oversight throughout the proposal and design phase of solar PV projects. Your expertise will span all aspects of a solar PV system, from racking and equipment foundations to fencing and site construction support.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Solar PV designs based on project requirements, including module selection, string sizing, ground coverage ratio, inverter selection, and cable sizing
- Create detailed 1-line diagrams and array layouts for solar PV systems
- Demonstrate strong technical skills with the ability to generate accurate, highly detailed construction drawings and documents using AutoCAD
- Collaborate closely with project development and construction teams to drive successful design, development, and construction of Solar PV systems
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
- Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV system design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, HelioScope, and solar performance modeling software
- Possession of a valid P.E. license in the state of MN (Preferred)
