Job Title: District Development Manager

The District Development Manager will lead the implementation of projects at the district level, ensuring effective delivery of activities in the district Dadu.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with the project cluster coordinator to ensure effective implementation of project activities in the district;
  • Develops and shares work plans/activity calendars with partner organizations and stakeholders;
  • Develops training rollout plans for Community Resource Persons and Lady Health Workers (LHWs) in consultation with partner organizations;
  • Prepares comprehensive monthly activity reports of the project and submits them to partners and stakeholders;
  • Provides technical support and guidance to the field team for effective implementation of project activities;
  • Conducts regular field monitoring visits to ensure effective implementation of project activities and provides technical support to the Social Mobilization team;
  • Participates in relevant Family Planning/Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (FP/MNCH) program updates, meetings, and forums to stay informed on ongoing activities in the district;
  • Ensures quality implementation, identifies areas for improvement, and provides technical assistance to field teams;
  • Performs other official tasks assigned by the project manager.
Mandatory Qualifications and Experience:
  • A Master's degree in Social Sciences or a related field from a recognized University/Institute is required;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Family Planning/Maternal and Child Health projects is mandatory;
  • Proven experience in project implementation, coordination, and supervision is essential;
  • Ability to travel within and outside the district as assigned is necessary.
Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Foundational knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
  • Ability to write and speak using the local language and English;
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and be flexible and adaptable in response to changing priorities and deadlines.
