About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement and Logistics Expert to join our team at GenZ Talent. In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing and streamlining our end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, warehousing, logistics, and inventory management.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and procurement management roles. Strong negotiation skills, proficiency in supply chain management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau), and leadership experience with a focus on team development, collaboration, and continuous improvement are essential.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Supply Chain Management:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies to optimize the flow of goods, materials, and services.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain activities and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align supply chain processes with business objectives.
• Logistics & Distribution:
  • Oversee inbound and outbound logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers, shipping companies, and internal teams to optimize routes and reduce lead times.
  • Manage warehousing activities, including inventory control, storage, and distribution processes to maintain stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
• Procurement & Sourcing:
  • Develop and manage procurement strategies, focusing on cost-effective sourcing while ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable agreements.
  • Evaluate and manage supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Inventory & Demand Planning:
  • Conduct demand forecasting and inventory planning to ensure availability of materials and products without overstocking.
  • Implement inventory optimization practices to minimize waste and reduce carrying costs.
  • Perform regular inventory audits and oversee replenishment strategies.
• Process Improvement & Cost Management:
  • Analyze supply chain data and identify cost-saving opportunities, process enhancements, and efficiency improvements.
  • Implement and standardize best practices in logistics, warehousing, and procurement to drive productivity and reduce operational costs.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, technology advancements, and regulatory changes to continuously improve processes.
• Team Leadership & Compliance:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the logistics, supply chain, and procurement team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards across all operations.
  • Create and maintain accurate records for audits, reporting, and regulatory inspections.

Salary Information

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of PKR 150,000 - 250,000, commensurate with your experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
