Job Description

Develops a comprehensive supply chain strategy to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction while minimizing costs.

  • Leads the team in implementing best practices and monitoring performance using agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators.
  • Directs and coordinates global supply chain functions through strategic planning, resource optimization, and profitability maximization.
  • Plans, manages, and coordinates all activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies to meet fluctuating product demand levels.
  • Collaborates with plant, warehouse, and logistics departments to establish intercompany transfers and determine cost-effective distribution solutions for finished goods transportation.
  • Monitors and adjusts inventory levels at external warehouses and internally to ensure optimal rotation and maximize working capital.
  • Works with freight forwarders and transportation companies to optimize routes and rates, reviews, and approves all freight terms and agreements.
  • Collaborates with the procurement department to identify best practices for freight consolidation and in-house transportation.
  • Ensures proper utilization of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Contributes to operations by regularly reporting on departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including analysis and recommended countermeasures where necessary.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field is required.
  • Experience in a related field may be necessary.
  • Ability to manage logistics across all aspects of the supply chain, from product development to shipment of finished products.
  • Understanding of accounting or finance principles.
  • Proficiency in ERP programs, preferably enterprise-level.
  • Able to comprehend legal documents and contracts.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to building lasting relationships with stakeholders worldwide.
