Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Gas Metering Equipment Specialist to oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of gas measuring equipment across our distribution network.

About the Role:

  • Evaluate and manage the operational integrity of natural gas measuring equipment at Industrial Gas meter stations, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Coordinate field activities related to installation, startup, maintenance, and operation of gas metering equipment, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and implement effective plans to optimize manpower utilization, guaranteeing timely completion of gas measurement activities in line with established schedules.
  • Lead root cause analyses, document issues, and collaborate with relevant departments for prompt resolution, driving continuous improvement.
  • Oversee the calibration/Joint Meter Check of Sales Meter Stations, conducted by the team, ensuring accuracy and precision.
  • Plan emergency procedures for addressing complaints on a 24/7 basis, maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Foster precise gas management, accurate measurement, and adherence to pressure standards based on demand-supply analysis.
  • Supervise the procurement of essential spares and equipment, adhering to technical specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and manage key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each responsibility area, promoting individual growth and team success.
  • Ensure achievement of team KPIs by closely following the overall plan, driving results-oriented performance.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor budgets for Operations, Maintenance, Revenue, and Capital expenditure within the department, upholding financial prudence.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of bids through the procurement department, upholding quality and value standards.
  • Maintain the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of natural gas measuring equipment, prioritizing the well-being of personnel and the environment.
  • Pursue additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor, demonstrating adaptability and responsiveness.

About You: To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics, along with a minimum of 09 years of post-qualification experience. Experience in Oil & Gas or Public Sector is preferable.
