**UI/UX Design Specialist - Gaming Industry**

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled UI/UX Designer to join our team and contribute to the creation of innovative software solutions. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for defining the overall vision for game user interfaces, ensuring high-quality UI design and user experience, and collaborating with product management and engineering to implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Define the overall vision for game user interface design
  • Ensure high-quality UI design and user experience
  • Create and develop all aspects of game UI, including menu systems and HUD
  • Communicate game UX to compliment broader style
  • Develop visual systems that achieve goals from both game design and UX perspectives
  • Iterate designs according to work reviews, changing requirements, and user playtests
  • Drive UX design and UI assets through each stage of production: concept, wireframe, prototype, implementation, and refinement
Requirements
  • 6 months – 2 years of experience in the gaming industry
  • Strong knowledge of software used in UI development, preferably including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Unity UI
  • Extensive experience in a UI/UX design role within the games industry and shipped at least one commercial title
  • Able to communicate vision to designers, artists, developers, producers, and others involved in the development process
  • Keen interest in general in User Interface design, the field of User Experience, and continued development of these subjects
  • An appreciation of graphic design and typography trends, with an eye for composition, balance, and readability
  • Critical thinking ability to understand how a feature will improve overall user experience, move metrics, and prioritize features
  • Excellent graphic design and visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
  • Up-to-date with latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Outstanding skills in designing and creating assets/visuals for games
