Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in systems administration and be proficient in storage technologies, operating system commands, and PowerShell scripting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintaining various systems, including storage solutions, cloud applications, O365 services, and VMWare. This role will also contribute to the development and deployment of solutions across system administration, security, automation, monitoring, and disaster recovery.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Storage Management: Assist with the management and maintenance of storage systems (NetApp, Dell, Synology).
  • Active Directory Administration: Develop and implement policies for Active Directory administration, security, and disaster recovery.
  • DNS Management: Manage DNS management (Internal/External).
  • Cloud Application Management: Manage enterprise cloud applications in Azure.
  • Conditional Access Policy Creation: Create and manage conditional access policies in Azure.
  • System Upgrades: Perform architectural improvements to meet business needs.
  • Automation: Identify opportunities for automation and create scripts.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot problems escalated by Level 2 support and business partners with system challenges.
  • After-Hours Support: Provide after-hours support to various business units as needed.
  • alert Response: Respond to SEV1 alerts during your shift as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of systems administration experience.
  • Previous IT experience in a large organization is advantageous.

Skills and Behaviors:

  • Ability to automate tasks as solutions are identified.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of training users in applications and OS fundamentals and writing basic documentation.
  • Proficient in storage technologies like NetApp and Dell.
  • Proficient with most operating system commands/utilities, specifically Windows Server versions 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019.
  • Familiarity with basic system administration tools and processes.
  • Must be very proficient in PowerShell and capable of creating custom scripts.
  • Working knowledge of SCCM and patch management.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple timelines.
