Job Overview - Drilling Supervisor

Drilling Supervisors are responsible for overseeing drilling and well construction activities, ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with international best practices and agreed plans.

• Supervise and control drilling operations to meet well objectives in a cost-effective manner.
• Identify and mobilize necessary inventory, equipment, and services to execute the agreed plan.
• Establish administrative control at the rig site and ensure compliance with HSE policies, Well Engineering Management System, and local regulatory requirements.
• Implement Drilling Performance Plans to achieve sustainable optimum performance delivery.
• Prepare onsite execution plans and standing instructions for drillers and service providers to ensure effective communication of instructions/information on the drilling program.
• Act as a single focal person for all sorts of formal well site reporting and communication.

• Professional or graduate engineer in Mining, Mechanical or Petroleum Engineering or Technical diploma.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Effective Communication and Coordination.
• IWCF well control certified (supervisory level).

• Minimum 15 years' experience in drilling operations for technical diploma holders.
• For engineers, 10 years drilling experience including minimum 5 years in drilling supervisory role.
