Chinese Language Interpreting Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chinese interpreter to join our team in Rawalpindi/Islamabad. The successful candidate will be responsible for interpreting and translating various services, including healthcare, legal, educational, and immigration.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to interpret and translate with 100% accuracy. Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting for individuals using legal, health, and local government services
  • Ensuring non-English speakers understand after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
  • Handling confidential information
  • Liaising between the service user and provider

Requirements

• Fluent in English or another language

• BS/MS degree in English Language, Literature, ELT, or TESOL

• Any other interpreting related qualification

• IELTS certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking)

• Must sign and agree to a surety bond and Non-Disclosure Agreement
