Finance Assistant Manager
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily cash balances and ensuring adequate cash flows for effective business operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Cash flow management: Ensure that all financial transactions are properly accounted for and that cash is managed effectively.
- Cash forecasting: Analyze past sales and revenue data to predict future cash needs and make informed decisions about investments and expenses.
- Banking relations: Establish and maintain positive relationships with banking institutions to ensure timely access to funds when needed.
- Financial reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to stakeholders, including management and investors.
- Budget planning: Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement comprehensive budgets that meet business objectives.
- Financial solutions: Develop and implement creative financial solutions to address business challenges and opportunities.
- Interdepartmental liaison: Foster strong working relationships with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Financial advice: Provide expert financial guidance and support to senior management and other teams as needed.
- Staff supervision: Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their full potential.
- Government submissions: Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Financial audits: Participate in internal and external financial audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Banking transactions: Manage all banking transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Credit card payments: Process credit card payments and reconcile statements to ensure accuracy.
- Transfer management: Oversee the transfer of funds between accounts and ensure timely execution.
- Invoice processing: Manage the receipt and processing of invoices from vendors and suppliers.
- Payroll management: Oversee payroll processing, including salary payments, tax deductions, and benefits administration.
- Tax filings: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and file required tax returns in a timely manner.
- Financial policies: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following qualifications and skills:
- Minimum graduation or equivalent qualification.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP.
