Software Quality Assurance Specialist

The role of a Software Quality Assurance Specialist is to ensure the quality and integrity of software products.

This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including development and testing teams, to identify and prioritize software defects and issues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing test plans and cases
  • Identifying and documenting defects and issues
  • Collaborating with development teams to resolve defects and issues
  • Providing technical support and guidance to other teams as needed

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Strong background in computer science
  • Experience with software testing and automation tools
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and issue tracking tools like JIRA

This is a night shift role that requires authorization to receive and access commodities and technologies controlled under U.S. Export Administration Regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Create test plans, maintain documentation and perform testing on multiple devices, platforms, and browsers.
  2. Plan and Execute verification of features broken down into components for weekly releases.
  3. Take full ownership of all QA artifacts.
  4. Point out execution gaps and completely own process improvements.
  5. Actively look into all ES and customer-facing issues being reported for your org.
  6. Aid in retrospecting possible customer issues with the leads.
  7. Identify, analyze, and document defects, questionable functions, errors, and inconsistencies in web and mobile applications as well as ELD functions, outputs, online screens, and content.
  8. Take ownership of E2E testing.
