Job Title: Director of Education Innovation

About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our education innovation efforts, empowering students to learn at double the speed with just two hours a day.

This is a full-time position requiring exceptional leadership skills, strategic thinking, and public advocacy. As Director of Education Innovation, you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge academic frameworks, unifying diverse school models, and elevating academic leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop actionable curricula, motivational systems, and app designs grounded in rigorous learning science.
  • Oversee academic performance reviews, ensuring alignment, accountability, and positive outcomes in school teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive academic ecosystem reviews, identifying barriers to accelerated learning and proposing targeted interventions.
  • Represent our organization on prestigious platforms, advocating for systemic change in global education perspectives.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience leading academic or EdTech teams with proven exceptional learning outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing AI or technology to enhance learning processes.
  • Established record of public thought leadership, including media appearances, keynote speeches, publications, or advisory roles.
Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Experience in founding or leading an innovative school model, lab school, or high-performing EdTech initiative.
  • Familiarity with navigating cultural, political, or international educational environments.
  • In-depth knowledge of Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks.

The compensation level for this role is $200 USD/hour, equating to approximately $400,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year.
