System Administrator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our team. As an Assistant Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Linux-based systems and virtualization technology.

Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Maintenance of production systems using software automation tools.
  • Management of web servers, GIT, CI/CD pipelines, and other related technologies.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience in system administration, with a strong understanding of Linux and virtualization technology.
  • Proficiency in bash scripting and version control tools like GitLab, GitHub, and GitBucket.

Educational Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, IT, IS Telecom, or Computer Science (4 years) from a recognized university.
  • A Master's degree in a related field is preferred.

Work Location: Islamabad

Job Terms and Conditions

  1. The selected candidate will be hired initially for a contract period of 5 years, which can be extended if required.
  2. The management reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
  3. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
  4. Candidates must provide accurate information; false information may result in disqualification.
  5. A relaxation of 5 years in age is already included in the above age limit.
  6. Selected candidates must provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
  7. Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
  8. No TA/DA will be admissible.
  9. Attested degrees from Higher Education Commission (HEC) must be provided at the time of interview.
  10. Females, minorities, transgenders, and differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
  11. Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches, etc. will not be allowed during the test/interview.
  12. Candidates must meet all the requirements and qualifications mentioned in the job description.
