Proposal Writer sought to craft compelling business proposals and bids.

Our ideal candidate will possess strong research, writing, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The selected individual will leverage their APMP certification and expertise to oversee the end-to-end proposal development process, ensuring timely and compliant submissions that align with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop high-quality, tailored business proposals based on business requirements.
  2. Conduct market research to identify current and future trends and opportunities.
  3. Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and submit business proposals as bids.
  4. Address queries related to proposals and raise concerns after assessing Terms of Reference (ToRs).
  5. Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  6. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute to the content and presentation of proposals, including preparing management summaries.
  7. Ensure proposals are compliant with business requirements and reflect best practices in structure, content, and presentation.
  8. Apply APMP best practices to ensure high-quality, professional proposals.
  9. Implement and maintain proposal development tools, templates, and processes for continuous improvement.
  10. Provide mentorship and guidance to team members on proposal best practices.

Requirements:Qualification and Experience:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business Management/Communication or related field.
  2. 2 years of experience in proposal writing or a bidding department is preferred.
  3. Familiarity with bidding processes and RFPs is a plus.
  4. Proven success in managing and winning competitive bids/Proposals.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  6. Familiarity with proposal management software and tools is an advantage.
  7. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Certification:
  1. APMP Foundation (or higher) certification is required.
