Proposal Writer

We are seeking an experienced Proposal Writer to develop high-quality, compelling business proposals and bids to support our organization's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and draft business proposals tailored to client requirements
  • Conduct market research to identify current and future trends and opportunities
  • Respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and submit business proposals as bids
  • Address queries related to proposals and raise concerns after assessing Terms of Reference (ToRs)
  • Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring timely and accurate submissions
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to contribute to the content and presentation of proposals
  • Ensure proposals are compliant with client requirements and reflect best practices in structure, content, and presentation
Requirements:
  • Must have a degree in English language and literature
  • 2 years of experience in proposal writing or a bidding department is preferred
  • Familiarity with bidding processes and RFPs is a plus
  • Proven success in managing and winning competitive bids/proposals
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with proposal management software and tools is an advantage
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Certification:
  • APMP Foundation (or higher) certification is required
