The role of an Off Campus Hostel Assistant is a vital one, requiring strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities- Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of Off-campus hostels by performing regular checks and carrying out necessary repairs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, providing support and guidance when needed.
- Implement measures to prevent unauthorized access to the hostel.
- Assist students with administrative tasks, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently.
- Foster a culture of respect for university property, promoting teamwork and cooperation among staff and students.
- Monitor transport schedules and report any delays or disruptions.
- Operate generators safely and judiciously, ensuring minimal disruption to daily activities.
- Maintain accurate records of generator usage and petrol stock levels.
- Conduct daily checks on fire equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
- Previous experience as a helper in a house or office environment.
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols.
- Ability to communicate effectively in Urdu.
