Job Description

The ideal candidate for this role is an experienced AWS Data Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing scalable data lake solutions on Amazon Web Services (AWS). This person will be responsible for architecting, building, and maintaining a robust data integration platform that enables seamless data flow from SAP ERP systems to Anaplan for financial planning and analysis.

The successful candidate will have 8+ years of experience in data architecture and engineering roles, with a proven track record of designing and implementing AWS Data Lake solutions. They will possess strong expertise in integrating SAP ERP data and hands-on experience supporting FP&A processes, particularly in Anaplan. Additionally, they will have advanced skills in Python, SQL, and other programming/scripting languages.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely and on-site as needed, with opportunities to collaborate with international teams and work on cutting-edge projects.

  • AWS Data Lake Architecture: Design and implement a scalable AWS Data Lake solution to efficiently store, manage, and process large volumes of data.
  • Data Integration: Build and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from SAP ERP systems into the Data Lake.
  • Support for FP&A in Anaplan: Enable seamless data integration and synchronization to facilitate financial planning and analysis processes in Anaplan.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Optimize AWS environments for cost-efficiency, scalability, and performance.
  • Data Governance and Security: Establish and enforce best practices for data security, compliance, and governance across the Data Lake.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with business analysts, SAP specialists, and Anaplan consultants to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end data solutions.
  • On-site Event Support in Dubai: Provide in-person support in Dubai for critical team events and milestones when required.
