Airframe Technician

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain aircraft according to approved maintenance schedules using standard methods and procedures.
• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on aircraft within the scope of approval.
• Ensure timely departures by completing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance checks.
• Accompany aircraft for maintenance as required due to schedule changes.
• Travel for aircraft recovery during AOG situations and pre-departure checks.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including bonded stores and office areas.
• Keep station manuals up-to-date and coordinate material replenishment.
• Communicate with Maintenance Control Centre regarding technical delays and defects.

Five years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least three years as a certifying engineer, is necessary for this role.

Aircraft Engineer License recognized by the relevant Authority and Gulf Air Technical Quality Department, with experience on at least one aircraft type, is required.
